‘Where were these judges when she was being raped?’: Rep. Ogles doubles down after Nashville judges accuse him of ‘invoking violence’

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Congressman Andy Ogles (R-TN) has stood by comments he made on social media accusing Nashville judges of dismissing cases against a man recently arrested for allegedly raping an unconscious woman on the steps of a Nolensville Pike church in August.

On Dec. 5, Ogles posted the photos and names of several Davidson County General Sessions Court judges on Facebook and in a thread to X. The post referenced a case where a man was arrested in connection with sexually assaulting an unconscious woman near a church in the Woodbine neighborhood in August. Ogles’ post alleged the suspect had been arrested “over a dozen times,” but every case was dismissed.

“Every judge and prosecutor who let him off the hook was a DEMOCRAT,” Ogles wrote. “As long as local liberals are running things in Middle Tennessee, we are at war. The state should impeach all of the judges. Send the guard to Nashville.”…
