Pedestrian killed in I-840 crash in Rutherford County

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A pedestrian was killed in a crash Wednesday night on Interstate 840 Westbound in Rutherford County.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:14 p.m. on Interstate 840 West near the 56 mile marker. Two vehicles were involved.

The THP identified 63-year-old Denise J. Bradley, who is a native of Tennessee, as the pedestrian killed in the crash. According to the THP’s preliminary report, charges are pending the outcome of the investigation for one of the drivers involved in the crash.

A 2019 Honda Pilot was traveling west along Interstate 840 when it struck a 2006 Toyota Corolla that was partially blocking the roadway because of a recent crash with another car.
