MARION, Iowa — The Marion Chamber of Commerce and the city are reaching out to the community in hopes of getting the next Community Impact Award nominee.
The award started in 2021 in recognition of banker Morris F. Neighbor of Farmers State Bank. The winner this year was Nancy A. Miller.
Nominees have to be a person, couple or an organization who have contributed to the betterment of the community, whether by volunteering or helping make the lives of others in the city better. They have to also model honesty and integrity, excellent character, and leadership skills…
