Christmas celebrations have long placed tamales at the center of the holiday table, as this beloved dish embodies so much joy and tradition. Tamales take time, quality ingredients, and many hands to make, with the preparation naturally bringing family and friends together. Still, holiday schedules often get full, and you must then depend on other loving hands to prepare these seasonal favorites. That’s when it’s time to turn to the Dallas Farmers Market, as we have you covered with Tamale Weekend!
Visit Pearl St. Plaza this Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14, to enjoy our flavorful celebration filled with culture, community, and Christmas cheer as local tamale makers bring the heat with delicious seasonal bites. The festivities will continue Saturday, December 20, and Sunday, December 21, but with a more limited variety of vendors. As with all good things this time of year, these will go fast, so please arrive early for the most selection.
