JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Bus workers who provide daily transportation for Jackson residents are negotiating a new contract with demands for better wages, improved working conditions, and more operators.
The ATU Local 1208 Union, which represents JTRAN workers, is in contract talks with MV Transportation, the company that oversees the bus system. The current contract expires Dec. 31.
