Little Rock firefighters bring holiday cheer with Black Christmas toy drive

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) — The Little Rock Black Firefighters Association is spreading holiday cheer with its second annual Black Christmas community toy drive.

Captain Aaron Slater and his crew, along with Santa, are leading the event, which aims to give back to the community in a big way.

“Thanks to our president, Kentrell Shepard, he came with amazing idea, like, man, let’s have Santa,” said Slater. The event features a black Santa, free haircuts from certified firefighter barbers, and delicious food cooked by firefighter chefs…
