New Orleans security leaders pitch new barrier plan for Bourbon Street

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A group of New Orleans security leaders presented what could be a “permanent” solution for Bourbon Street barriers on Thursday, December 11.

Bourbon Street barriers came under the spotlight after the New Year’s Day terror attack, where a terrorist sped down the street and killed 14 people. A subsequent security report recommended turning Bourbon Street into a pedestrian walkway.
