New Caney, TX – Two men are facing felony theft charges after a “Good Samaritan” act turned into a vehicle and equipment theft in Montgomery County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded December 5, 2025, to a call about a stolen vehicle on the 25000 block of Hunters Trail in New Caney. Officials said the victim’s car had become stuck when two men stopped to offer help.
