Inside Out Youth Services posted an update at around 6:30 p.m. that, after thoughtful consideration and input from young people, the center will reopen on Friday, Dec. 12.
“While this situation is troubling, it is becoming clear that we will likely need to respond to similar incidents as they arise. We will continue to take each situation seriously and adjust as needed,” said Inside Out Youth Services.
Inside Out wanted to emphasize that the center has full-time security. The center thanks the community for its continued support and understanding. The safety of its youth, staff, and volunteers remains the center’s top priority.

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said they have been made aware of the threats and are looking into them. At the current time, CSPD said there is nothing to the threats that have been deemed credible.
