LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas police officer is accused of abusing his wife for years, including an incident where he pointed a gun at her and several others where he would not let her leave, according to documents 8 News Now obtained.
LVMPD Officer Philippe Dinh, 31, faces 11 charges, including kidnapping, domestic battery by strangulation, and assault constituting domestic violence with the use of a deadly weapon, records said.

On Dec. 8, a woman texted her friend that her husband, Dinh, hurt her and would not let her leave during an argument, according to the arrest report. The victim later told police that Dinh pulled her hair, threw her onto a bed, and took her phone, putting it on a high shelf in a closet before eventually returning it.
The victim added that she learned Dinh had cheated on her with two other women, and she confronted him about it. Dinh denied cheating, but the victim did not believe him and said she was “leaving him for good,” and Dinh pushed her into a closet rack “multiple times,” the report stated…
