At their Dec. 10 meeting, the School Board approved an adjustment to the current FCPS calendar due to instructional time lost as a result of four snow days: Dec. 5, 8, 9, and 10. Dec. 18 will now be a full day for students, a change from the previously scheduled half day.
The half day was changed to a full day to allow for first block teachers and students to prepare for final exams, which have been pushed back to begin on Dec. 12…
