The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Friday for the 24th time in 25 days, decreasing 2.3 cents to $4.329.
The average price has dropped 37 cents over the past 25 days, including 2.2 cents Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It dropped 20 consecutive days, rose one-tenth of a cent Monday and resumed dropping Tuesday.
The average price is 12.9 cents less than one week ago and 40 cents lower than one month ago, but 4.8 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $2.044 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022…
