MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A female pedestrian is now dead after being hit during a police chase, according to the West Memphis Mayor’s Office.
The mayor’s office said a Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office deputy chased after two suspects who were drag racing, and during the pursuit, a woman was fatally struck. Both drivers are currently in custody.
