Police: Woman hospitalized after Warwick employee assaulted her with cup

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — A woman said she was hospitalized after a now-suspended Warwick employee threw a stainless steel cup into the back of her head, according to newly released police reports.

Michael DiPetrillo has been accused of several domestic violence charges, including felony assault and/or battery, stemming from incidents on Nov. 19 and Dec. 5, according to police.

Officers were called to the alleged victim’s home on Dec. 5 after she reported that DiPetrillo was intoxicated, disconnected her doorbell camera and was trying to enter her home…
