El Barrio Lions Club serves tamales for 2nd community fundraiser

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The El Barrio Lions Club is hosting its second Tamaliza Fundraiser on Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. at the Wesley Community Center to support the Lions Club’s mission and give back to the community.

According to officials from the Lions Club, attendees can enjoy hot Tamales and a game of the Mexican Bingo game “Loteria” for prizes. Officials note that attendees can either get three tamales with coffee or abuelita chocolate for $7 or a dozen tamales, first-come, first-served, for $20.

Lions Club officials add that vegetarian tamales are only available for pre-order.
