DES MOINES, Iowa — Alejandra Piña, the Mexican Rodeo Queen of Iowa, and founder of the all-women Mexican rodeo team Escaramuza Quetzalli, is hosting a winter clothing drive until December 16.

As part of her title, she is using her role as a rodeo leader to give back to central Iowa communities and gather winter clothes for those in need. Her team is hosting a winter clothing drive to support individuals and families in need this season.
If you have any gently used or new clothing, jackets, or blankets, you can drop them off at Grand Furniture and Mattress in Des Moines. The team can also arrange a pickup within the Des Moines area. Just send the team a message through Facebook.
