KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Country Club Plaza is all dressed up for the holidays as well as the landmark’s first Holiday Market and Shopping Stroll.
Shoppers who haven’t been to the Plaza recently will find new options at Saturday’s Holiday Market. A spokesperson for the Plaza said even more is planned for 2026.
New additions in 2025:
- Beloved! Boutique
- 231 W. 47th St.
- Beloved! opened in May. It is a nonprofit resale boutique for women looking for deals on upscale fashion and vintage pieces.
- Perch
- 333 W. 47th Street
- Perch opened in October. The clothing store is known for its mix of labels, including up-and-coming designers.
- Saint Nic’s: A Santa Experience
- 515 Nichols Rd.
- Santa returned to his home away from home on the Plaza in November. The experience is open through Dec. 23.
- The Current Shop
- 302 Nichols Rd.
- This is the second location in the metro for The Current Shop. Fans will find merch and a selection similar to the team store at CPKC Stadium.
- The Current also plans to host things like autograph signings and community events at the store.
- Prize Home + Garden
- 439 W. 47th St.
- The newest store on the Plaza is Prize Home + Garden. It will open just in time for the Plaza’s Sip and Shop. Shoppers will find one-of-a-kind furniture, art and home goods.
A spokesperson for the shopping and entertainment district said it will continue to welcome new businesses as stores and restaurants open in 2026.
- J.H. & Sons — Opening Spring 2026
- 316 & 314 Ward Parkway
- J.H. Sons is known for its hand-selected menswear options. The store will offer brands such as Canali, Brioni and Kiton when it opens.
- KCHouse — Opening Summer 2026
- 111 Nichols Rd.
- KCHouse will open in time for the FIFA World Cup. It will serve as an exclusive hospitality venue during the massive event. KCHouse is an invite-only space featuring a lounge, private conference rooms, rooftop outdoor area, and a presentation stage.
- Vertice Italian — Opening 2026
- 616 Ward Pkwy
- Summit Hospitality Group plans to open Vertice Italian in 2026. The restaurant will offer favorites such as handmade pastas and wood-fired pizzas alone with Italian wine and cocktails.
- LoveShackFancy — Opening 2026
- LoveShackFancy, will open as a pop-up sometime in 2026. Shoppers will find a style that includes ultra-feminine floral dresses and skirts, vintage-inspired jewelry, signature fragrances, activewear, and accessories.
The new shops and restaurants come as the Plaza works to add amenities like outdoor seating and green spaces. The district’s owners said they also plan to add wider sidewalks and make the entire area easier for pedestrians to walk…
