Michigan ‘Signing Santa’ event makes holiday wishes come true for deaf children

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – West Michigan-based Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services will once again host Signing Santa, a fun holiday tradition for deaf-blind and hard-of-hearing children.

For over a decade, the nonprofit has made their dreams come true.

Each year, a deaf Santa Claus, fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), speaks with deaf or hard of hearing children to learn their Christmas wish lists…
