Atlanta was rudely awakened yesterday morning when gun violence disrupted the peaceful slumber at 1049 McDaniel St. SW. According to the Atlanta Police Department’s latest release, a 50-year-old man was shot and subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment. He was found conscious, and breathing, despite sustaining an apparent gunshot wound.
