LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Snowy days could be fun for some, but for people experiencing homelessness, winter weather could be frightening and even life-threatening.
As temperatures dropped across Kentucky, The Hope Center in Lexington saw more people walk through its doors, all looking for the same thing—a warm, safe place to be.
The Hope Center’s Emergency Shelter was open around the clock, every day of the year, serving adult men experiencing homelessness.
