LINN COUNTY, Iowa — With the 2026 legislative session next month, Linn County prosecutors are proposing to make a change to open request records. This comes with the attempts to address the groping bill and invasion of privacy laws.
Linn County Attorney, Nick Maybanks, says they have had a significant increase in requests within the last few years, partially due to fans of true crime.
