OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) — As Christmas and New Years comes along there are some warnings for celebratory gunfire in Opelousas.
According to the Opelousas Police Department celebratory gunfire is a crime under Louisiana law and poses a deadly threat to innocent people.
