Innovation Hub opens for use for final day, set to close permanently at the end of the month

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A community at the North Little Rock Innovation Hub is left heartbroken after getting a notice that the building will be closing its doors for good on Dec. 31.

Katelyn Cartwright is a worker at the innovation hub and said the decision leaves her out of a job.

North Little Rock library system shares 2025-2029 strategic plan

On Nov. 17, the library board voted unanimously not to renew the hub’s lease for the new year. Its website states the closure is due to the operational costs being higher than expected, and a lack of grant money needed for several of the services.
