According to a criminal complaint, Daniel Arredondo got into a fight with Peres. Aredondo told officers he shot Peres because he pulled a gun on him, but witnesses said they did not see Peres with a gun. Arredondo was arrested earlier this week. He is facing a murder charge and unlawful carrying of a handgun by a person under age 19.
