Man pleads guilty to killing teen after dispute over washing machine in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man has pleaded guilty to shooting and killing a 15-year-old after an argument over a washing machine. Last December, 39-year-old Oscar Orozco was at a laundromat near San Mateo Blvd. and Zuni Road when he chased Michael Rowe outside and shot him in the back, killing him.

Orozco pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and tampering with evidence. He faces up to 40 years behind bars.
