BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Grand Island man died Thursday evening after he was reportedly pinned between a semi-truck and a pickup truck while working on the semi, according to a spokesperson with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
Pavel Tsygyrlash, 59, was reportedly working on the semi-truck in a parking lot at the corner of Grand Island Boulevard and Long Road in Grand Island when he was pinned. His son brought him to the hospital at 5:45 p.m. and he was pronounced deceased at 7 p.m.
