City of Cincinnati activates extreme winter weather shelter for weekend cold snap

CINCINNATI (WXIX) -The city will activate its extreme winter weather daytime shelter at St. Anthony Center on Sunday and Monday due to forecasted cold temperatures.

The shelter will operate at St. Anthony Center, located at 1615 Republic Street in Over-the-Rhine, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days.

According to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team, between two and six inches of snow is expected Saturday, and Sunday will be bitterly cold with highs in the mid-teens. Monday is also expected to be the high of 28 degrees…
