HARTFORD, Mich. — Van Buren County is working to keep their kennels from overcrowding by connecting pets at animal control with West Michigan military families.
Van Buren County Animal Control recently joined forces with Pets for Patriots, a nonprofit dedicated to helping U.S. military veterans, active duty service members, and their families connect with at-risk shelter pets– bringing them one paw closer to finding their forever home.
