ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A Weather Impact Alert has been issued for early Friday morning as a surge of cold, dry air will settle in overnight. This will set up the right ingredients for frost to form across the northernmost locations in the Tampa Bay area — temperatures near freezing, clear skies and calm winds.
A Frost Advisory is in effect for inland Citrus County, and while Hernando and northern Pasco are not under an official advisory, conditions will still be cold enough for patchy frost to develop. Lows will fall into the 30s and low 40s before warming into the 70s Friday afternoon under mostly sunny skies.
When:
From 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12.
