Dade City Commissioners approved several items during their final meeting of the year, held on Dec. 9. An agreement was entered into with KB Home Tampa, LLC and Flanagan Hillpot, LLC, for the construction of Morningside Drive.
The purpose of the extension of Morningside Drive from U.S. Highway 301 to Fort King Road is to improve roadway connectivity and support long-term mobility planning.
This corridor travels through property owned by Flanagan Hillpot, LLC and a portion of City-owned land, where a planned recreation trail would also intersect.
