NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Tennessee State University has responded after the state comptroller released it’s latest audit.
In a statement, the university acknowledged past audit findings, saying they “recognize that past audit challenges have raised legitimate concerns, and we understand that addressing longstanding systemic issues takes sustained effort over time.”
“We are encouraged by the reduction in findings from the 2023 audit, which reflects our ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional controls and accountability,” a statement from the university said…
