Central Falls triple-decker fire caused by faulty boiler

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) — A serious house fire in Central Falls has been deemed accidental.

Firefighters were called to Mary Street around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and arrived to find heavy flames coming from every floor of the triple-decker.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office said a malfunctioning boiler in the basement sparked the fire.

All of the residents and a dog made it out safely. No injuries were reported…
