Acacia Avenue Inferno Leaves One Dead In North Sacramento Backyard

One person is dead after a fast-moving house fire ripped through a North Sacramento property on Wednesday afternoon, ending in a grim discovery behind the main home. Fire crews were called to a residence on Acacia Avenue near Branch Street at about 1:30 p.m. When firefighters moved to the back of the lot, they found a victim inside a shed-like accessory structure separate from the main house.
