Possibility for freezing temperatures prompts safety reminders from officials

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – You are being reminded to take safety seriously ahead of possible freezing weather in the Baton Rouge area.

According to the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office, the main safety step you should take is to ensure your home has a working smoke alarm. Taking some time to check alarms can prevent a potential tragedy.
