OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Bennington man charged in connection with the death of a 16-year-old Millard West student will be back in court Friday.
Christopher Luke, 32, pleaded not guilty on Oct. 8 to one count of motor vehicle homicide for the April crash that killed Elise Cole. Luke is out on release and is facing up to one year in prison, a $1,000 fine, or both for the misdemeanor charge.
Police were called to the incident at 176th Avenue and Q Street, near Millard West High School, shortly before 7:30 p.m. on April 21. Elise was pronounced deceased at the hospital following the crash…
