SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 13, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects who opened fire on officers responding to reports of a fight early Saturday morning in downtown Salt Lake City.
SLCPD Deputy Chief Bill Manzanares told Gephardt Daily at the scene that police received multiple calls about 3 a.m. reporting a fight in progress at 149 W. Pierpont Ave.
As officers arrived, “multiple occupants of a car leaving the scene fired multiple shots in the direction of our officers. One of our officers did return fire and fired at least one round at the car,” Manzanares said…
