Library Owner Pays Fees after Being Found Guilty of DUI Following Crash He Walked Away from in Downtown Reno

According to documents we were able to obtain via the Reno Municipal Court website, the owner of the downtown Library bar West Muller was found guilty of a DUI charge in late October, while charges of obstructing and resisting an officer and duty upon damaging an unattended vehicle were “dismissed with prejudice.”

According to the court documents, Muller received 48 hours of community service, a requirement to attend a victim impact panel, 13 weeks of DUI school and having a breath interlock device for 185 days, with a fee total of $843.

A previous public records request had revealed his arrest for a hit and run crash, driving under the influence, as well as obstructing and resisting arrest in early September…
