NORTH CAROLINA — Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who had previously been reported missing in Buncombe County.
According to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called Friday to the Buncombe County Emergency Operations Center on Gilbert B. B. Crook Road in Candler after receiving a report of a deceased person. Upon arrival, deputies found 18-year-old Joseph Rose, who had earlier been reported missing to the Asheville Police Department.
Authorities have not released details about how Rose died, and the circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation. No additional information about possible causes or contributing factors was immediately available…
