CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Officials with the Charleston Water System advise staying clear of James Island Creek following a sewer main break.
Mike Saia, public information administrator for the Charleston Water System, says that the break in the marsh at the intersection of Riverland Drive and Camp Road was repaired on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Saia says they need to wait a few days to sample the water to let any elevated bacteria samples subside, and will sample nearby waterways sometime next week…
