History vs townhomes: Residents in one Chattanooga neighborhood fight development plan

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — Residents in one Chattanooga community say they’re concerned about a developer’s plan to build more than 70 townhomes on a vacant lot.

Homeowners in Indian Hills told us on Friday they have started a petition to stop the project.

They say the proposal could threaten the historical significance of the neighborhood and increase traffic, creating potential safety hazards.
