Police: Four face charges in York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office weapons investigation

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Two adults and two teens have been arrested and charged with felony weapons possession following a search warrant that was executed Friday at a residence on York River Park Road in James City County, police said.

Joseph Roy Morrisette, 19, of Shacklefords, Deavonte Mikel Taylor, 18, of Toano, and two teen boys from James City County, one 16 and the other 17 have all been charged with possession of a firearm that was equipped with a machine gun conversion device, according to police, who say the two teens also, each, face a charge of possession of a firearm by a minor.

Morrisette and Tyler are being held in the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail, while the teen boys are being held at the Merrimac Detention Facility…
