In a finish for the ages, Lake Mary quarterback Noah Grubbs threw a Hail Mary pass that was tipped by a Vero Beach defender into the hands of wide receiver Barrett Schulz, who then handed the ball to Tavarius Brundidge Jr., who ran the final 4 yards into the end zone for a 42-yard score and lift the Rams to a stunning 28-27 upset of previously unbeaten Vero Beach in the Class 7A state title game on Saturday night at FIU’s Pitbull Stadium in Miami.
