The Iowa Department of Transportation says Interstate 80 is closed in both directions from Coral Ridge Avenue in Coralville, or exit 240, to Plainview Road near the I-80 Truckstop, or exit 284.
The road is closed because of impassable road conditions, severe weather and several crashes caused by the weather. It will stay closed until weather conditions improve. Drivers are encouraged to follow Iowa 511 for updates.
