The annual Children’s Christmas Parade in Opelousas brought the holiday vibes to downtown. The whole area was lit up with festive lights and a great community spirit. The parade kicked off at East Landry and Academy streets and wrapped up at the Yambilee Building on US 190. Folks who went out got to check out some awesome, sparkling floats and hear some great music from local school groups. Oh, and Santa Claus showed up, which obviously cranked up the excitement…
