SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Hundreds of local kids will receive free footwear and other winter necessities courtesy of Goodwill this weekend.
The Goodwill staff is stepping lively because they’re giving away as many as 800 pairs of kids’ tennis shoes. That’s all because a child can’t get warm in the winter when their feet are cold.
“We see everything from kids with shoes that are torn and tattered. They have holes in them. They may not have any socks in December,” Goodwill of the Great Plains Chief Growth Officer Charlotte Nelson said…
