Man found guilty in fatal 2022 Warren County crash that sent pickup into home

BELVIDERE, N.J. (Warren County) — A Warren County jury on Friday found a Washington man guilty of aggravated manslaughter and several related offenses in connection with a 2022 crash in which his pickup truck became airborne and slammed into the second story of a home, killing a passenger and injuring the residents inside, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

John C. Nunn, 31, of Washington, was convicted of first-degree aggravated manslaughter; second-degree death by auto; second-degree aggravated assault; and two counts of third-degree assault by auto.

The charges stem from a Feb. 6, 2022, crash on County Route 57 near Butler Park Road. Washington Township police responded to the scene after a pickup truck operated by Nunn crashed into the second floor of a residence.
