AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A Richmond County Sheriff’s Office vehicle and an ambulance were involved in a crash Friday morning.
It happened just before 9:25 a.m. at Washington Road and Woodbine Road.
An unmarked Richmond County Sheriff’s Office vehicle was stopped at the red light westbound on Washington Road at Woodbine Road.
Officers determined that a Gold Cross ambulance was traveling westbound in the same lane and failed to stop, causing the ambulance to strike the rear of the Sheriff’s Office vehicle…
