FDNY officials responded to a 911 call Saturday around 12 p.m. of a building on fire after residents told News 12 they smelled burning fumes coming from the building’s roof.
“It looked like smoke, like it was just someone’s heat, but then I turned, and I saw the deep, orange flames,” said one resident who called 911 and let firefighters onto the roof.
