Sunny But COLD To Start The Week; Cold Weather Advisory in Effect!

Sunday is going to feature sunshine returning, but behind a morning cold front, we’re going to see temperatures falling and wind chills in the 30s by the afternoon. The cold air continues to filter in overnight and morning lows Monday morning will be in the low 20s, with a few areas north of Columbus possibly down in the teens. There is a Cold Weather Advisory in effect from 6pm Sunday evening to 8am Monday morning for very cold wind chills. Wind chills locally will likely be well into the teens late tonight into tomorrow morning.

THIS WEEK:After a COLD start to Monday with low 20s, we will see lots of sunshine with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 40s. The good news is, the winds will be quite calmer Monday afternoon. Tuesday will start out quite cold as well with lows again well into the 20s, but we will warm up into the mid to upper 50s by the afternoon. We’ll also see some clouds return to the picture late Tuesday. Wednesday we start out not quite as cool with morning lows in the mid 30s, so we could still see some frost, especially north of Columbus. But, Wednesday afternoon we warm up into the low 60s under partly cloudy skies. Thursday, expect mostly cloudy skies with some scattered afternoon showers, all ahead of our next frontal system. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid to upper 60s. A front moves through early Friday, but it won’t have the cool air behind it like we saw early in the week. Friday’s highs will be in the low to mid 60s.

UPCOMING WEEKEND:It’ll be a little chilly Saturday morning with lows near 40, but by the afternoon, we’ll be in the mid 60s under partly cloudy skies. Sunday looks to be mostly cloudy with some isolated showers possible and highs in the mid 60s…
