Suspect accused of throwing rock at ambulance refuses arraignment, officials say

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Three men facing felonies were expected in court Friday, but the hearings didn’t happen as planned.

Rock-throwing suspect refuses court appearance

Daniel Bryan, accused of throwing a rock at a Scott County ambulance, refused to appear in court Friday afternoon, according to a jail officer. Bryan was expected to hear charges, enter a plea and receive a bond decision.

Lexington police arrested Bryan on Thursday after they said he was throwing rocks at moving vehicles. According to the arrest citation, one rock broke the windshield and hit a Scott County paramedic in the face, causing $500 worth of damage.

The Lexington Police Department arrested him on wanton endangerment, assault, and criminal mischief after finding four large rocks in his sweatshirt pocket…
